Hotbox specializes in using a premium, professional hard wax that is ideal for sensitive skin. We never use soft wax for intimate areas such as the Brazilian, bikini, or underarms. We also never use soft wax on the face, except for the brows if needed. We do use soft wax on legs and sometimes arms.
The length of a service depends on the type of waxing service you are scheduled for. Our most booked service, The Hotbox Brazilian, is scheduled for 25 minutes, as this allows us sufficient time for the Vajacial mask to set after the waxing service. Our Basic Brazilian is scheduled for 10-15 minutes. Longer services include a full leg wax, which is scheduled for 1 hour and 45 minutes, maximum.
This is something I cannot answer for you personally, as we all have different pain tolerance thresholds. We go to great lengths to ensure your comfort. We work with you on breathing techniques to calm your nervous system, and we have mastered waxing techniques to minimize discomfort.
YES! We have a lot of experience waxing women while they are menstruating. Some tips for you are to bring a fresh Tampon or a clean cup to change into right when you get to your appointment. We always encourage you to freshen up in the restroom, and we provide refreshing wipes for cleanup.
YES! We love our mommies and their cute bellies! We ensure that all our mamas are well taken care of and comfortable (especially those hips). We have a table that reclines, allowing you to sit up rather than lying flat on your back. We have also developed a technique to help you relax and take core work out of your final pose for the booty strip.
YES and nothing to be ashamed of! We have plenty of expertise in waxing safely around any active hemorrhoids. Come as you are, girl!
NO! We welcome all body shapes, types, and sizes, and we love you just the way you are!
No, we are a women's-only waxing studio, and we take the privacy of our clients very seriously. So serious, in fact, that we have a check-in system that our clients must follow from inside their vehicles, upon arrival, via text prompts sent to their phones. Once they are checked in and notified to come inside, then our clients can come inside. During our sessions, our main doors remained locked at all times.
